This blend is so named to reflect the number of different coffees I have taste tested before I found the “secret ingredient”.

The first thing you’ll notice about LOT 7 is the rich darkness of the smooth mouth-feel of the beans. This is a blend of mostly Latin American (Honduras and Guatemala) beans with high grown Colombian Bourbon beans to fill out the flavour profile and temper the slight sharpness in the Honduran Agalta. On its own, the rich fruitiness of this high grown origin can yield too much acidity in the cup. This blend smooths out the acidity beautifully and leaves the flavour and the nose with absolutely no bitterness.

The flavour is immediate and intense, filling your mouth with vanilla, chocolate and caramel. This gives way to a darker sensation, with a touch of sweet carbon from the darker roasting dominating the long clean finish.

I hope you like it
